Day 3 - Mt Fuji District- hot springs and sceneries....
Owakudani Valley- its a volcanic area with a strong stench of sulphur. Some of the bursting sulphur is captured on videos but I wun be uploading it here.
It is said that after eating the 'black shelled egg', your life can be extended for 7 more years. As if I believe in this crap. But I still eat it anyway. Ha.
The egg inside taste and look the same as any normal egg lar. haa. Or maybe the egg yoke is more yellowish?
A good view of the Mt Fuji can be taken at Oshino Hakkai- a mini park with a crystal clear pond and flow of mineral water where you can refill your bottle with.
Tada..A view of Mt Fuji from afar! The view looks too fake to be true but its real! We will be going to Mt Fuji the next day for a close-up of the snow mountain!
At our onsen (hot spring) resort- we have to dress in our robes provided in our tatami room to attend the dinner.
There is a mini onsen in our resort. It was so unspectacular that we don't even feel like trying in the end. We were expecting some big hot spring pools of varying tempt. Maybe cos our resort is a very small one.
The place to take your public bath before entering the onsen. Oh yar, you have to be totally naked when taking the bath and entering the pool. *winks*
